Appraisers, Inc., was incorporated in April of 2002 through the concerted efforts of a few real estate appraisers concerned with providing high quality appraisal needs in the real estate appraisal industry. As professionals, much thought, planning, and prayer went into forming what we call Appraisers, Inc.

Appraisers, Inc. was founded in early 2002 by appraisers Michael Imes, IFA, CAR, DAR and James Jones, IFA (retired).  Between the two founders they had a combined experience of approximately 10 years at the time of inception. From day one, Appraisers, Inc.'s goal was to lay a foundation which would provide lenders, home owners, and investors with high quality, fair, honest, and accurate commercial and residential real estate appraisal valuation products with the fastest turn around times possible. Whether you’re an insurance company, small private mortgage company, a private real estate investor, a large lending institution or simply a private home owner our goal remains the same - High Quality, Reliable, and Accurate commercial and residential real estate appraisal and consulting products.

In a continuing effort to maintain high levels of integrity in your home valuation needs, the chief appraiser, Michael Imes, IFA, CAR, DAR, has found it necessary to be a member of an industry organization, receive as much education as possible, and network with other professionals in the industry.  Mr. Imes is a designated "IFA and CAR (Certified Appraisal Reviewer)" member of the Olympic Peninsula Chapter of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraiser (NAIFA).  Mr. Imes attends more than the required amount of continuing education for license renewal, attends meetings and conferences, as well as speaks daily with other professionals in the industry to further his experience, training, and quality of work. In 2007, Mr. Imes was also recognized by theCanadian National Association of Real Estate Appraisers (CNAREA) with the "DAR" designation.
